Training
for Sport
This
section of Health and Fitness for Key Stage 3 & 4 provides information
supplementary to National Curriculum P.E. It is particuarly relevant
to the teacher-coach and those pupils participating in competitve
sport.
Several
interactive resources are included in this section. They include
a Training Diary to assist in the setting of training goals and
A Performance Profile template to help individual assessment, monitoring
and planning of programmes for development . Tasks, Worksheets,
and a Training Planner are also included to assist learning, development
and success for the pupil in their chosen sport.
Training
Diary
The
interactive Training Diary is designed to help pupils engaged in
competitive sport keep a record of their own planning for that sport,
together with a review of how they are proressing.

Planner
The
interactive Training Planner is designed to help pupils formulate
their training programme and to write it down as a record of what
they will be doing during each training phase.
